Absence Reporting System
  • Absence Reporting Refresher for Administrators
    No workshops are scheduled at this time. Administrators will be notified when new workshops are available. Do not register for this program if you have not been told to do so by your department or University Human Resources. This training is open to approved system users only. Those eligible will be informed by their departments. The training will review absence and accrual rules. An overview on how to use the ARS system will be provided. Advanced topics such as part-time accruals, alternative hire dates and other topics will be discussed.

  • Absence Reporting System Record Keeping for Part Time and Irregular Workweek Employees
    No workshops are scheduled at this time. Administrators will be notified when new workshops are available. Do not register for this training if you have not been told to do so by your department or University Human Resources. This training is open to approved system users only. Those eligible will be informed by their departments. The training will explain how absences and accruals for part-time and irregular workweek employees should be entered and maintained in the Absence Reporting System.

  • Absence Reporting System for ARS Administrators
    No workshops are scheduled at this time. Administrators will be notified when new workshops are available. Do not register for this training if you have not been told to do so by your department or University Human Resources. This training is open to approved system users only. Those eligible will be informed by their departments. The seminar will review the accrual and paid time off rules. The seminar will provide training on the Absence Reporting System including log-in, data entry, including recordkeeping for part-time and irregular workweek employees.

  • Understanding the URA-AFT, MPSC, AFSCME and Doctors Council Vacation Policy
    This session will explain the policy changes that include the ability of employees to use vacation days as they are accrued; the new way maximum carry over will be calcualted during "break" years (i.e. years during during which an employee's vacation accrual rate increases).
